REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy explains cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling for Sabara Hotel & Suites and Sabara2 Shortlet Apartment.

A) Hotel Room Bookings (Ikotun)

1. Cancellation by Guest

  • 24–48 hours before check-in: Guest may qualify for a full refund or free reschedule (minus payment gateway charges where applicable).
  • Less than 24 hours to check-in: Refund may be partial or booking may be converted to a reschedule credit (subject to management approval).
  • Same-day cancellation: Usually non-refundable, but may be rescheduled once at management discretion.

2. No-Show (Did Not Arrive)

  • If you do not arrive and do not notify us, the booking is treated as a No-Show and is typically non-refundable.

3. Rescheduling (Date Change)

  • Date changes are allowed once (standard practice) depending on availability.
  • Reschedule requests should be made before check-in date.
  • Rate differences may apply if new dates are at a higher price.

B) Shortlet Apartment Bookings (Sabara2 – Egbe)

Because shortlets are reserved exclusively and prepared in advance:

1. Cancellation

  • 48 hours+ before check-in: Eligible for refund or reschedule (minus charges where applicable).
  • 24–48 hours: Partial refund or reschedule credit (subject to availability).
  • Less than 24 hours / same-day: Typically non-refundable.

2. Security Deposit (If Applicable)

  • If a security deposit is collected, it is refundable after inspection, provided there is no damage, missing items, or extra cleaning required.

C) Refund Processing

  • Refunds (where approved) are processed back to the original payment method or via bank transfer if required.
  • Processing time is typically [3–10 working days] depending on banks/payment providers.
  • Transaction/processing charges may be deducted where applicable.

D) Early Check-out

  • If a guest checks out earlier than planned, unused nights may be non-refundable, except where management approves otherwise.

E) Cancellation by Sabara (Rare Cases)

If we must cancel due to unavoidable issues (e.g., maintenance, safety concerns):

  • We will offer a full refund or free reschedule, based on your preference.

F) How to Cancel or Request a Refund

Send your:

  • Full name
  • Booking date(s)
  • Room/apartment type
  • Payment proof/transaction reference
  • Reason for cancellation
